Ginny’s background includes 10+ years of experience in the health care industry. Most recently, she was a senior writer for Kaiser Permanente, writing and editing B2C and B2B feature articles and success stories, newsletters, blog posts and sales brochures.
She is a skilled thought partner who asks perceptive questions and offers suggestions that help hone each project’s strategy and direction. She has a special talent for explaining complex topics in clear, engaging ways, and for collaborating with large teams to produce on-brand, effective materials.
Ginny has worked fully remotely for 2+ years, and on a hybrid schedule for 3+ years. She is a self-starter who works well independently and consistently meets deadlines. She is detail oriented and professional.
Other experience Ginny brings to the table includes working as a marketing specialist for a large architecture and interior design firm, and as associate editor/writer/photographer/distribution manager for a business magazine. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from California State University Chico.
Volunteering
Ginny has been a public relations consultant for a nonprofit that empowers cancer survivors. A dog walker for an animal shelter. A hospice volunteer. And she’s currently a website writer/editor for a dog rescue organization.



Dogs and the great outdoors
In her free time, Ginny enjoys doting on her dogs, hiking in the mountains, leaping into ice-cold lakes, kayaking and attempting to grow dahlias.
